Registering Your Dogs

Registering your dogs with WDR can range from simple to fairly complex. We have several levels of registration, each one giving you different benefits. Our General Registration category doesn't require much, but as you progress up the levels of registration, it gets more and more exclusive. Our registration system is part of our title system. This is to provide our members with registration levels to strive for and also to pick out the top working dogs.

Levels of Registration

Main Registrations
General Registration-The dog must be a working breed dog with natural coat colors. Crossbred dogs are allowed.
Semi-Selective Registration-The dog must be a working breed dog with natural coat colors. The dog must be purebred. Dog cannot be line bred past the fourth generation.
Selective Registration- The dog must be a working breed dog with natural coat colors. The dog must be purebred. Dog cannot be line bred. The dog must match breed standards perfectly with UKC.
Silver Registration- The dog must be a working breed dog with natural coat colors. The dog must be purebred. Dog cannot be line bred. The dog must match breed standards perfectly with UKC. The dog must not display any overly aggressive or extremely shy traits. The dog must be relaxed around guns and loud noises.
Gold Registration- The dog must be a working breed dog with natural coat colors. The dog must be purebred. Dog cannot be line bred. The dog must match breed standards perfectly with UKC. The dog must not display any overly aggressive or extremely shy traits. The dog must be relaxed around guns and loud noises. The dog must prove that he/she is top working quality by showing off a chosen working skill to our judges and completing it without fault.
Platinum Registration- The dog must be a working breed dog with natural coat colors. The dog must be purebred. Dog cannot be line bred. The dog must match breed standards perfectly with UKC. The dog must not display any overly aggressive or extremely shy traits. The dog must be relaxed around guns and loud noises. The dog must prove that he/she is top working quality by showing off a chosen working skill to our judges and completing it without fault. The dog must stack correctly for the judges and remain calm under examination. The dog must show dependence from the owner and the ability to take commands perfectly off lead.

Age/History Related Registrations
Quality Puppy Registration- The pup must be natural colored for the breed. Must be a purebred working breed dog. No inbreeding allowed. Must have health tested parents and a litter sheet. Cannot be an import.
Quality Import Registration- The dog must be a natural color for the breed. Must be a purebred working breed dog. Must have an import image and a reference image. Must have a background from which country and kennel the dog was imported from.
Quality Breeder Registration- The dog must have successfully bred one litter of pups. The litter must have passed the health test perfectly. The litter must be natural colored and purebred, free of line breeding. The dog must be health tested and of appropriate age to have been bred.

Earning Registration Titles

To earn your Registration Titles, you must fill out the form found below and supply all of the correct images for your title. Sketchy, incomplete images or re-used lines will not be accepted!

Silver Registration- Dog reference, an image showing the dog accepting human contact calmly and kindly, & an image showing the dog being relaxed around a fired gun or other loud noises.
Gold Registration- Dog reference, an image showing the dog accepting human contact calmly and kindly, an image showing the dog being relaxed around a fired gun or other loud noises, & an image of the dog demonstrating a chosen working skill.
Platinum Registration- Dog reference, an image showing the dog accepting human contact calmly and kindly, an image showing the dog being relaxed around a fired gun or other loud noises, an image of the dog demonstrating a chosen working skill, an image of the dog stacking correctly for a judge, & an image of the dog off of a lead while listening correctly to the owner.
Quality Puppy Registration- Dog Reference & Litter Sheet
Quality Import Registration- Dog Reference & Import Sheet
Quality Breeder Registration- Dog Reference & Produced Litter's Sheet

*for testing whole litters(General, Semi-Selective, Selective, & Puppy titles) or import groups(General Semi-Selective, Selective, & Import titles), the we need the litter/import sheet instead of the dog reference.
